Wessex Junior League (WJL) honours 2024 season

Mia Gore one of our U11 athletes is 3rd overall female in the WJL league Quad Kids 2024 season.

This is a great achievement, as it takes into account all of the U11 female performances over the 4 rounds of matches across the league’s 22 teams.

 At each round there were an average of 170 U11 female athletes competing.

Each match Mia competed in a U11 combined events style competition (called Quad kids). Over the course of the day, Mia competed in a:

• 75m sprint

• long jump

• vortex throw

• 600m race

Each of her results were awarded points, added together at the end of the match and then placed in a table with all U11 girls competing in the league.

Mia’s brilliant acheivement highlights her determination and talent. Well-done Mia and well done to the U11 (Fundamentals) coaching team.
