Midland League

Saturday 7 September at Tilsley Park.

We hosted the last of our ML matches fielding our largest team of the competition, coming third overall on the day our best placing this year.

Lots of personal bests (PBs) and season bests (SBs) and athletes trying lots of new events, which is great to see.

Three of the team (Tiffany, Oscar and Mark) competed earlier in the day at the Inter Counties and came over to Tilsley Park to take part in the relays.

The men produce a near club record in the 100m relay of 43.5s. The current club record is 43.2s!

The AAC men's team blast round for a brilliant 4X100m relay win.

Well done goes to the whole team on the day all of those competing in multiple events during the day.

Thanks to officials and support

Plus, yet again a big well done to our team manager, Josie Brown. And the results team on the day Sam, Lisa and Mark. Sam and Mark also competed on the day. Thanks to Pete Stepney for sorting the officials lunches and of course a big thank you to our hard-working officials team. Without them the match would not have gone ahead.

We will add the results link as soon as they have been finalised.
